Chris Greenwood (Curator for Red Line Art Works) said : ‘You can see art works from about 25 countries on our website and Gabriella’s brilliant paintings draw attention to the millions of victims of the (never-ending) ‘War on Terror’ and conflicts, for example in : Afghanistan, Israel-Palestine, Chechnya , Libya, Mali, Ukraine, Syria, Yemen.
He congratulated Gabriëlla : ‘Her paintings have been exhibited around Europe, they speak in all languages and say important things. We strongly recommend her high quality work to everyone.’
“Artists like myself who are committed to reflecting issues of Global concern in our work do not expect to win anything, so when we do it is a surprise and very welcome. It is a great honour to be recognised and I am proud to receive this award. Red Line Art Works is an important initiative at a time when our world faces big problems.” Gabriëlla said.
